  I just did a drunk experiment to find out what it looks like when you turn a burner on the stove on while wearing night-vision goggles. I may be blind in my right eye now.

• My 40 proof "logic" told me that the burners used ultraviolet light to heat food as opposed to infrared, so therefore, it wouldn't show up.\n\nI was mistaken.\n\nMy right eye now works again, though it was rather blurry and dark for the next three days.\n\nI'm not at Fort Carson, no.\n\nAnd it was digital, so there was some saving grace at least.
