"thats an allentown PA number, and if you know allentown you know its not philadelphia"
610 extends to almost all of the 'burbs around philly, so confusing the two is understandable.
omg wegman's was the best! when i lived in erie, pa, i knocked a cart full of food over while i was in it when i was 4. the worker who came over to clean it up almost shit himself when he saw the mess.
I actually laughed at this. There is a new Wegman's going up near collegeville and it is going to have a bar in it!!!!!!! A grocery store with a damn bar, I love PA!!!!
I've lived in 610 all of my life (even when it was 215) and we have never had a Wegman's. Genuardi's is our store around here. Allentown is like two hours from Philly and is it's own entity.
Now, to settle the debate, there is a Wegman's being built in 610 currently, but it won't be finished for a while.
yup its a rochester thing i actually went to grade school with Danny Wegman's neice and live 5 mins from what i think is the first wegmans (Pittsford, NY)
Wegmans IS Rochester and it may be the single greatest grocery store of all time. I have lived in Chicago and NYC and have yet to find anything even close!!!!!!!!!!!
who cares where wegmans started... just accept that it's a great store and open your mind to the fact that you might not know where all of their locations are...
I live in California and I read this tfln and laughed really hard at the text but I feel very left out because I have no idea what any of the stores are that you all speak of :(
oh it's not just philadelphias. i lived in godforsaken upsate NY for two years and the highlight of EVERYONE'S week was their trip to wegmans. living without it now is the supreme tragedy in my life.
I live in NE Ohio....no Wegman's here. I feel pretty left out, though we DO have Giant Eagle. But noone gets all hyped up about the big bird so it must not be as great as Wegman's...
12:14AM is retarded there are 3 wegman's in the allentown area...one on tilghman st, one in bethlehem on rt 512 and another near easton at rt 248 and rt 33. hah well that's more like the whole lehigh valley are but what's important is that you get my point
wegmans is god of all supermarkets. WaWa is the god of all conviences stores and its just beautiful getting up in the morning and going to wawa. upstate pa and parts of jersey dont have wawas.
