• October 11 is Columbus Day. Get your lame meaningless holidays right. Besides, isn't the day to come out of the closet really the third Monday in January?

  • October 11 is Columbus Day *this* year, not every single year. The day to come out of the closet is any day you WANT to come out of the closet, but the "National" Coming Out Day is indeed October 11, unless you live in certain European countries where it's October 12.
