UV isn't going to be blocked by standard glass used in most windows, so unless it's treated or tinted glass this would work, assuming that OP isn't covered or clothed while in bed. Why else would they need to specially treat sunglasses to block UV?
Actually you are the dumbass. UVA can pass UVB cannot. You physically can't get a tan through glass. Also, no a even year old would not know that seeing as they probably have NOT take any physics courses.
