I didn't think her American accent was real until I noticed she was morbidly obese, lacked any half decent concept of sarcasm and was unable to spell properly
Funny....fattest women alive is from France. Everyones got porkers running around.....your fatties just dont get air time....well...cause...no one cares about you
Not to sound totally ignorant or anything (ignorance = don't give a shit 'cause "I'm better than you", stupidity = lack of information because their IQ can't keep up, me = I've always been taught that a "British accent" exists but love learning), why isn't there "British accent" and what are other acceptable names for English accents? \nThank you :)
Maybe to a British person you dont have an accent....but you guys have the most recognizable (and retched) accent in the whole damn world...\n\nSpot of tea old chap? Chip Chip Cheerio!
The problem is you only know the overly-posh RP accent, which barely anyone speaks anymore. You want to hear real British accents? Listen to Jason Statham or Tim Roth.
Better check your facts....less then 20 percent of Americans dont have health coverage..also check the news...thats changing..and yet we still have better teeth....go play in traffic snaggletooth
Yeah this happened to me once. I didn't realise this girl an American until she started spouting ignorant generalisations, that are about as true as Saddam Hussein having WMDs.
what? does this even make any sense. I hope the OP realizes this probably started this whole argument of worked up, over reacting people. That was probly his reason too.
i met an american once. she was nice. \nbritish people are better, purely because we pretty much took over the world at one point. we're shit now. but so is america
No such thing as a British accent. Britain is made up of England, Scotland, N. Ireland and Wales, and the accents in each are as different as English is to American.
I see your point here, but I also believe Brits typically refer to us as having American or "Yank" accents. You can argue the same for America- a Southern accent does not sound like a New York accent which doesn't sound like an Ohio accent. The UK is one country just as we are; therefore, any of those accents could reasonably be deemed a British accent, just as any of ours can be deemed an American accent.
I'm surprised about how many British people were on this site. But, this is probably gonna cause some big argument featuring all-worked-up Americans and people from England.
If you were to "check it", you'd realise it's a complete myth derived from the fact that the only English actor you know is Hugh Grant. The English actually have a better dental practice than the US, people like you just perpetuate the stereotype out of some overly patriotic inferiority complex.
From my experience, a lot of British people DO have bad teeth, but so do many other cultures including Americans. If it is a "true stereotype" (idk if it is since I've never been) I'd think it wouldn't be crooked teeth but stained stained teeth from all the black tea they drink, but I drink a lot of tea and as long as you use a whitening toothpaste it doesn't change the color of your teeth.
