I wonder if I.Q. scores and standardized tests were graded on a curve or something. I was a smart but average A/B student, 3.5 GPA, mix of College Prep and Honors classes, who used to end up in the 99th percentile in elementary school. I know a lot of other people like that.
i got a 148 and i'm at the university of florida because i wasn't mainlined into any extracurriculars by my parents and i lacked the motivation to look for it elsewhere
basically, i smoke a lot of weed, do recreational drugs on a weekly basis, and get straight a's.
my liver spits on my iq.
@ 7:31
IQ = particular person of a certain age's intelligence / average intelligence for that age * 100
average IQ for that age = average intelligence for that age / average intelligence for that age * 100
the average IQ for any age is always 100 by definition.
I disagree, 9:53. I fully believe in academic segregation because the average and poor students hold back the smart ones by dumbing down class. And then I get blamed for breaking the curve when I don't learn much anyway. If schools want to treat us that way, they should advance students like the old days - college at 16.
