  • People learn the law voluntary consumption of alcohol or drugs causes strict liability in which the aforementioned status can't be not be used as a nullifier to consent. Basically if the person willingly drinks and is of a reasonable intoxication( not blacked out) then consent can be given. Look what happens when you sign a contract when drunk(ie Vegas marriages) THEY ARE STILL LEGALLY BINDING
